I had my first “PodCamp” experience just over a year ago in Toronto and what struck me was how many people turned out for it. It was (for me) a revelation. There I was mingling with over 200 or so new media enthusiasts and we all shared the same passion for social media. For the first time, I felt that I was not alone and that some of my ideas had found a receptive audience. In fact, attending this conference became the catalyst for starting my blog.
So if you want to meet some great like-minded individuals who share a passion for podcasting or learn about the broad spectrum of what new and social media encompasses, I suggest you make plans to attend PodCamp Montreal.
It’s a really fun and informative gathering for anyone who’s curious about new media. This bilingual two day event takes place on September 20th and 21st, at the Pavillon de Design de l’UQAM.
